Our History

Soul Springs Festival was founded by Derrick Pipkin, a passionate advocate for music and culture. Derrick is also the owner of PIPS On LaBrea, a renowned jazz restaurant in Los Angeles, known for its vibrant atmosphere and dedication to showcasing exceptional talent. With over 35 years of experience in creating memorable music events, Derrick has a deep understanding of the power of music to connect people and enrich lives.

Musical Talent

PIPS On LaBrea will sponsor the musical talent at the Soul Springs Festival, featuring some of its great performers from the restaurant’s weekly music lineup. This collaboration ensures a high-quality musical experience that celebrates the essence of soul music.

- General Admission Tickets: Priced at Priced at $65 these tickets provide access to the lawn area where you can experience the festival’s vibrant atmosphere. Please bring your own chairs or blankets and settle in for an unforgettable day of soul music under the Cathedral City sky.
- Picnic Benches: For a more communal and comfortable experience, book one of our picnic benches for TBA. Each bench comfortably seats 6 people, making it perfect for groups looking to enjoy the festival together without the hassle of bringing their own seating.
All ticket holders are welcome to bring a picnic basket filled with their favorite food and beverages to enjoy throughout the day. Whether you’re spreading out on the lawn or gathering around a picnic bench, make sure to pack your treats and drinks to complement the soulful tunes.
