Golf
Over a hundred courses in the valley and February is the month they're built for. Our own tournament tees off at 7:00 on festival Saturday.
A festival you can build a whole weekend around. Soul, jazz and R&B on an open lawn, in the best weather Palm Springs has all year, with golf, spas, canyons and jazz clubs waiting on either side of it.
That's the part nobody else can copy. Soul Springs sits in the middle of Palm Springs in February. Peak season, mid-70s, blue sky. So the ticket isn't the trip. It's the centrepiece of one.
Golf in the morning. Spa in the afternoon. Canyons before it gets warm. Shopping the design district, dinner on a patio, and a jazz club after dark. Then five hours of soul music on a lawn on the Saturday. People come for the festival and leave having had a holiday.
What actually happens out there
This is a soul music sing-along, all day, all concert. Not a set you stand politely through. A lawn of 1,800 people singing records they have known by heart their whole lives, with a live band behind them.
Our artists play the classics that raised them. That's the whole idea. From the first note at one o'clock to the last at six, the loudest thing out there is the crowd.
The getaway
You're in the Coachella Valley in its best month. The festival is one Saturday afternoon. Here's what fills the rest of it.
Over a hundred courses in the valley and February is the month they're built for. Our own tournament tees off at 7:00 on festival Saturday.
The hot springs this whole valley is named after. Day passes, massage, and a pool deck in full sun.
Palm oases and waterfall trails ten minutes from downtown. Go before noon and you'll have it mostly to yourself.
Flat, wide and warm. Cruiser routes through the neighbourhoods or proper road miles out toward the mountains.
Mid-century furniture and vintage along the Uptown Design District, or El Paseo in Palm Desert for the luxury strip.
A serious restaurant town: steak, Mexican, sushi, soul, and patios that are open in February. Book Friday and Saturday ahead.
The music doesn't stop at six. Live jazz and lounges across the valley carry the night once the festival wraps.
Ten minutes from desert floor to alpine forest. Often snow at the top while it's in the seventies at the bottom.
Two for two
We hold the cap rather than raise it. Smaller crowd, better day, and it means tickets genuinely run out.
2025. Sold out, year one.
2026. Sold out again at the new cap.
Already gone for 2027, months out.
Average February high. Peak season in the desert.
Saturday, February 6
Gates open a full hour before the music so you can set up chairs, get food and pick your patch of lawn before anything starts.
